We can't believe our little Miss Mattie is in kindergarten!

I found a dead cicada on the sidewalk at work and brought it home to show the kids. Mattie was more than excited to touch it and she love looking at his wings.

Kindergarten Round-up!

Mattie attended Kindergarten Round-up yesterday and she LOVED it!! She told me she couldn't wait for kindergarten to start.

Shirley Temple Time

Mattie enjoyed her first Shirley Temple at Olive Garden last Saturday night. She loved it!

Camouflage Day

Today at preschool it was camouflage day. Mattie was so excited to wear her new shirt.

Drive Through Zoo

We spent September 11th spending the day as a family so we decided to go to the drive through zoo. We didn't tell Mattie where we were going until we got there. We just love to surprise her. It was a perfect day!

Indian Creek Museum

Cuckoo and Pa invited us all to Emerson, IA, for breakfast one morning and to visit the Indian Creek Museum. The breakfast was yummy and Mattie loved looking at the old cars, stoves and washing machines. Plus there was an old log house and a one room school room to explore.

Dentist

Mattie had her second dentist appointment and we weren't sure how it would go considering the first time was scary for her. But much to my surprise she walked right in there, got ex-rays and let the hygienist clean her teeth without any crying. We were so proud of her and she was proud of herself too!
